Ask Blog Rules and Guidelines

It is important that Ask Bloggers read and abide by the set rules. These rules are not made by one person alone and requires the attention of other bloggers as well.

• Rule One - All original posts concerning questions (this does not apply to OOC posts) should contain a drawing of some sort made by the blogger. We enjoy seeing the character’s body posture and facial reactions when answering said questions. Especially the humerous ones.

• Rule Two - Other fanart images, like those from Pixiv and ZeroChan, are wlecome additions to posts. But be sure to keep your own illustrations as the main focus of a post. We all want to see your talents.

• Rule Three - When reblogging please keep it to a minimum. And when a reblog post starts to become long please delete the old part of the blog. We’ve already seen the early part of the blog enough to know what is going on. Hopefully this will make our dashboards a lot less cluttered. *Added* - Also, when posting your answers for questions you might want to use the keyword for your blog’s name (Example : askguohuai) because some followers have decided to watch for this tag rather than follow our blogs directly as a result of our many reblogs that don’t answer questions.

• Rule Four - This one was one I felt needed to be added for a while but never thought to address it as most new comers tend to choose characters that have not already been claimed. We do have a few characters that have more than one blogs but a few of us bloggers that have already got our character’s claimed feel that having more than one of us sort of replaces us. So from now on we ask that you choose to run an ask blog for a character that has not been already chosen.
  For those who wish to join the DW Ask community we ask that if you decide to be a character that is already on the MasterList that you message them before joining. Some may not want another of their character as a blog and may feel “replaced”. While others feel that they are ok sharing the spotlight.

• Rule Five - All DW Ask Bloggers must have the MasterList and Rules as a link somewhere on their blog’s page. This is to mostly ensure that Rule 4 is seen. Not everyone follows or runs into every individual blog. So to highly ensure that the rules and the list is seen please link this blog as “MasterList and Rules” or any variation that includes “rules”. Simply putting “Masterlist” won’t grab their attention into reading the rules that are also on the blog’s page.

• Rule Six - Please limit one DW Ask blog per person. This one is one that has kind of been universally acknowledged within the community but I feel that I should write it just in case this does become an issue in the future. We want everyone to have a chance to have a place in the community. FuckYeah and other non-Ask blogs are alright to have along with your Ask blog.
